Dortha "Dot" Gillespie SALTVILLE, Va. Dortha "Dot" Gillespie, age 83, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, Va. Dot was retired from Olin Corp., and the Town of Saltville. She was a member of the Madam Russell United Methodist Church. She is survived by; her husband ,Fredrick J. Gillespie; brother, Robert "Bob" Cahill and wife Reba of Saltville; special friend, Kenny Gillespie; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2009, at Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Don Petty and Rev. Bill Cahill officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Rose Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service.
