Dory PLANTE Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Dory Plante in Edmonton at the age of 83 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing, seven children, Paulette (Michael) Carten, Denise Paquin, Michelle (Tim) Talbott, Lucille (Dave) Paplawski, Yvonne (Paul) Fleming, Carmen Plante (John McIntyre), Laurier Plante and their mother Rita Plante; 17 grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond (Marlene) and Albert (Carol); four sisters, Sr. Helen Plante, Roma Newcombe, Louise (Gerry) Lavoie and Dolores (Cliff) Gilbertson as well as numerous extended family.
Dory was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Blanche and sister Irene.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Connelly- McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 17 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 9420-163 Street, Edmonton with cremation to follow.
For those who wish, donations in Dory's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
