Doug Blankenship Obituary
Waynesville-Doug Blankenship, 67, died on March 19, 2018. Doug was born in Newnan, GA on August 29, 1950, to the late Edward and Mary Rainey Blankenship.
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by a sons, Michael Blankenship and John Lee James.
Doug is survived by his partner, Donna Kay James; sons, Shane Bentley, Joey Blankenship (Candy) and Damon Blankenship; daughters April Smith, and Kimberly Beavers (Gregory); brothers, Tony Arrington and Dudley Blankenship; sisters, Gail Hollingworth and Debbie Blankenship; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on March 23, at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM at Garrett Funerals and Cremations.
