Cathy, Carol and families:
Our family here on the West Coast met Doug and Cathy when Uncle Leo came out in the summer during the early 1970's and brought his new family: Aunt Nora, Doug and Cathy. We had a great visit then as well as with our visits back to the farm in the 1970's.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

Carol and family,

I never really got to know Doug that well but Wyatt always enjoyed chatting with him and Doug always took the time to visit with him.

Doug would not want you to be so sad
He'd want you to remember the good times you had
To think back on the memories shared
And look back on how much he cared
Do not cry for the loss of this fine man
Smile and be proud we shook his hand
The hand that helped us all see the light
God called his angel home tonight.....

Dear Carol and Cathy,

My fondest memories growing up as a child were our visits to Uncle Leo and Auntie Nora’s farm and all the good times. That was many years ago but I still remember Doug and his infections laugh that put a smile on everyone's face. Just like Auntie Nora. Now they are doing it in heaven.

Take care of each other and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
