To All of Doug's family,

I am so sorry to read of Doug's passing. Who could have known that just a short time would pass after I asked him to come to Bob's funeral that he would be having one himself.

You are in my thoughts and prayers and I have such fond memories of Doug and our high school years together and afterwards.

Dear Vicki and family,

I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for the heartache you all must have felt for the past weeks and especially today. Memories are wonderful things but often, probably, do not feel like enough. Be strong for each other and take comfort in God's love for you and your dad. You're all in my prayers and on my heart.

Love,

Joan

The passing of my DAD has left most of us stunned. After surviving a Life threatening car accident in Waco, he was blessed with a healthy life for almost 5o years. A heart operation a few years ago slowed him down, but a diagnosis of Lung Cancer only 2 months ago was more than his body could handle.
He was a good Man, a Great DAD, and I'm told by those who knew and worked with him, a true friend.
I hope that Waco is proud of the son that was my DAD, he was from Waco, and Waco was part of who he was.
I Love You Dad, and I never realized how much I'd miss knowing I could stop and visit you when I needed your advise or just wanted to talk. Thanks for the life you led and the example you set. You will live forever in my heart.

Your #1 Son,

Delinda Barnett

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know this has been a hard road to go down. I really think Uncle Doug is in a better place watching over all of you. I love all of you. Deepest Sympathy.

Dad:

Words cannot express the sadness that overwhelms me. I know you are in Gods hands and you are not suffering anymore, and for that I am truly grateful. But I am selfish and want you here with us. I know we will all be together again some day. You were a wonderful father who taught me so much, and made me who I am today. I know I have told you, but I can only pray that you know how much I love and cherish you. You own such a big part of my heart and that will never change.

Your loving daughter,

Vicki
