Douglas Alaskin Obituary
Born in Placerville, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 30 years.
He was a graduate from Johnson High School in Sacramento.
Survivors include a son, Alex M. Alaskin of Wheatland; his father and stepmother, Richard and Mary Alaskin of Wheatland; a brother, Richard Alaskin of Sacramento; and two sisters, Denise Pandza of San Diego and Deborah Verrasstro of Portland, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Alaskin.
• Services: A celebration of life is at 1 p.m. Sunday at his father's residence, 3048 Bradshaw Road, Wheatland. Arrangements are under the direction of Holycross Memorial Services in Yuba City.
