Douglas Evan Clark Sr., 55, of Amarillo passed away on February 10, 2023.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
Doug was born March 31, 1967 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Leonard and Jacqueline (Evans) Clark. He graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo and would later join the United States Army.
Doug was an incredibly dedicated family man. He found great pleasure in the outdoors. From Golf and Bowling, which he was a member of the Pantex league teams, to fishing in the mountains and his travels to Idaho; Doug found solace being in the outdoors. He also enjoyed reading, shooting guns and photography. Doug was an avid photographer.
Doug is preceded in death by his parents and grandmother Thelma Bout Clark. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth Clark, sons Doug “DJ” E. Clark Jr and wife Tiffany, and Matthew Clark and wife Randie; as well as five grandchildren and many other loving family and dear friends.

I always thought fondly of Doug. He was uncleared during the time I was so I had an opportunity to get to know him. He’s so young to leave this world but know he is healed. God bless the family during this time. Prayers for you
