I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Doug from his work at NAM and he was always fair and considerate. Wishing you peace.

Although I did not know Doug very well from high school, I do remember him being funny, witty, a fast runner and very smart. He obviously influenced and inspired many other people in his life, and that's a rare gift. My condolences to the family and I am glad he gave many people great memories.

Doug persevered in this cancer thing as he did in life. The Lord must need Home for a very special reason. I know one reason is to watch over his Ann, Will, and Maggs forever. Rest in eternal peace Doug.

I will miss the traveling socks dearly. I will miss his pictures of his traditional thanksgiving and other holiday feasts! But most of all I am lucky to have known him- he was a truly genuine person with a sharp wit and just overall good person.

Additional words escape me. You know how much Doug means to you, his family, his friends, his colleagues, and to virtually anyone who met him. I'll miss him. I'll remember our Cleveland Park days fondly forever.
