Words can not express my shock at Doug's death. Your family has been through so much, it's hard to understand why something like this could happen. Doug was truly a blessing to all that had the good fortune of knowing him. He was an inspiration in his dedication to his family and to all that he loved. You will all be in my prayers as you deal with this tragic loss.

I am still in utter disbelief and shock about what was told to me last night concerning Doug. I have read the article, and still find it hard to fathom. Doug and I worked together at Custom Homes of Iowa, and grew to be extremely good friends. Our love of music as well as family and unity in Christ wove a tight bond to our friendship. Unfortunately, I haven't talked with Doug in about a year as the cares of life and business took me away. I will greatly miss Doug, and wish the best for his children and family. As a note to the children and to Michelle - Doug is one of the finest, most dedicated man I have ever had the pleasure to meet. You should be proud of him always, and know that Jesus loved him, and is now taking care of him. God Bless you all.

To the Family of Doug Hadley,
I am so sorry for the loss of Doug.
He was a good person and friend. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. You all are in my thoughts and prayers! The loss at such a young age takes alot of time to heal. I graduated in the same class as Doug and haven't kept too much in contact with him, but it was great seeing him at the class reunion last year.

It was with total disbelief and sadness that I read of Doug's death. I enjoyed visiting with him at the post office on a near daily basis when I worked in Libertyville and we later discovered we are actually related. Later he helped me a great deal with some computer projects. Doug's talents & abilities just seemed endless. Please know that he will be greatly missed by many people.
