Douglas passed away suddenly on March 9, 2014. He leaves behind his beloved daughter Elizabeth (Kirk and Ares Dafoe), step- daughter Tammy Appleton and brother David. Predeceased by his parents Florence (Crête), Hiram Lackey and brother Donald. Douglas, may God's light shine on you and may you rest in peace. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, March 13, 2014, 7-9 p.m., at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Rd. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the Ottawa Food Bank. Online condolences may be made at www.colefuneralservices.com
