You were a great friend and I always thought you had the best memory and how smart you were without even trying. I will miss you. It's hard to believe you're gone an it hurts to know I'll never see you on this earth again. Rest in peace. Sincerely, KL

Just found out! And can’t believe you’re gone! You were an amazing friend and Dr! My kids loved you; it’s been hard to find a replacement. Rest In Peace❤

Long before Dr. Doug actually became Dr. Doug, that’s how he was always greeted by us when he came into his older brother’s elementary school classroom looking for his brother. His serious demeanor and book smartness just gave him the look and feel of someone going places. So it was no surprise to me that he actually ended up a physician and grew into his childhood nickname. May he rest in peace and may those who knew him best find consolation in their grief in the goodness of the heart he directed at those he loved and cared for.

Doctor Doug! Your only brother misses you so much. Tell Mom, Dad and Rudy hi for me. Love you!
