Douglas Shoen Obituary
Lansing - Douglas Jon Shoen, of Lansing, age 59, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. He was born August 24, 1959 in Sheridan, Michigan, the son of Alfred and Doris (Maxfield) Schoen. Doug graduated from Portland High School in 1977. He was an electrician and worked for Emil's Electric for 25 years. Doug was an avid University of Michigan and NASCAR fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cindy Blundy. Surviving Doug are his siblings, Steve (Betsy) Shoen, Kathy (Dan) Weller, Karen (Dan) Blundy, and Gordon Shoen; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Teresa Stanley and family.
A private Memorial Service will be held. Contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice in memory of Doug. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
