DOUGLAS SINCLAIR Obituary
DOUGLAS EBENEZER ROSS SINCLAIR Peacefully, on June 10, 2003, at Lansing Residence, Toronto, Ontario in his 83rd year. Born in Vancouver on February 7, 1921, son of John Kinloch Sinclair and Mary Catherine Ross. Douglas was an award-winning independent cinematographer who produced many travel, nature and sports films for television in Canada, including both CBC and NFB. He freelanced as a cameraman for Warner Bros. and Fox studios in his earlier years and filmed in New York, Hollywood and Europe. He also did photographic identification work for both the American and British armies during WW II. Predeceased by his wife Adele (Gibson). Surviving is son John Sinclair of Viborg, Denmark and nieces Ruth Baird and Barbara Charleton of Coquitlam, BC. A special thanks to all the caregivers at Lansing Residence.
