Douglas Neil Swimm

My belated condolences to the family - it was not until I recently began to search friends from my past as I get closer to my 50-year school anniversaries that I learned of his passing. I knew Doug during my two years at Dean (Jr.) College, from 1977 to 1979. He was one of my "quad" mates at Adams Hall during our freshman year, and we became very close friends right away. He was kind, easy to get along with, and just fun to hang out with. I remember he was active in sports at Dean and loved skiing. After Dean, he came up to visit me in Maine where we did some camping and canoeing. Like so many friends I knew from that time, we fell out of touch and I miss him now.
