I was saddened to learn of Doug's passing. We worked together on many research projects at Notre Dame and later at Cornell. He was a wonderful colleague, dependable, hardworking, and bright. He was also highly personable and it was a pleasure to know him and Betty.

Betty, you and your family are in my prayers. Please take care of yourself. I saw that Doug, like Bob, was born in Dec. and they both died in Feb. I know Bob is greeting Doug with a good Camden welcome. Kayo
