Our beloved and beautiful Dovie left this earth to soar to the heavens and greet her parents (Roy and Bertie Cole), her brothers (Lawrence and Royal Cole), grandchild (Justin Ramirez) and great grandchildren (Jessica Hobbs and John Hobbs). Her legacy will live on through her 7 children (Vernon, Connie, Eugene, Doretha, Wayne, Shelley and Edwin), 20 grandchildren (AJ, Lori, Lisa, Cindy, Veronica, Renee, Jennifer, Rodney, John, Jamie, Stephanie, Justin, Zachary, Carissa, Gabriel, Jeremiah, Rachel, Jessica, Michelle and Madison), 47 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. She made friends where ever she went. Nobody would leave her presence hungry or wanting for anything. We are grateful that she is no longer bound by her frail body and tired spirit. Grandma, it is your time to soar and be free. We will miss your infectious laughter, warm embraces, sloppy kisses and good food. We love you and look forward to being with you again.

I am writing because I came across a letter Dovie sent to my parents years ago requesting information on her family, I am so sorry to see that Dovie passed away before I found this and got back to her, I read her letter years ago but had not done our family history and did not know the names she asked about at that time, but I do now and we are related, Jahazza Cole was my mothers great aunt, Serilda Cole McCarty was my great grandmother and Jahaza's sister. you can find me on face book Sharon cole welch or call me if you want to get in touch 606-265-3171, again I am so sorry for your loss, it saddens me that I just now come across her letter again and I was to late to get to speak with her, I called the number she sent but it was no longer in service, so I searched her on the computer and found her. I live in Kentucky, Johnson county
