Dovie Roberta "Korki" Testerman

Korki Testerman, 77 years, of Joplin, Mo., formerly of Anderson, Mo., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, Feb. 10, 2010. Korki entered this life on May 15, 1932, in Anderson, one of five children of Charles F. and Virgie M. Reed. Raised in Anderson, she graduated from Anderson High School. She moved to Kansas City, Mo. in 1986. In 1990, she moved to Joplin, to be closer to her son. For the last 10 years she has worked at Suzanne's Natural Foods as a reflexologist. Korki was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Joplin. She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant children, Roberta Kay and Roger Kristopher Testermen; a brother, Tony Reed; and a sister, Virginia Harrington. Survivors include Robert Testerman; her son, Keith and wife Judy Testerman; three grandchildren, Amber Spencer and Tim and Kaleb Testerman; three great-grandchildren, Kaden Testerman and Kali and Koby McClain; a brother, Sam Reed, of Independence, Mo.; a sister, Nancy Martin Fields, of Grandview, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Suzanne, Joyce and Jesse as well as all of her extended family at Suzanne's Natural Foods in Joplin. All those that knew Korki loved her dearly. She will be missed. Funeral services for Ms. Testerman are at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb 15, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
