Doyle M. "Pop" Boyette

Services for Mr. Doyle M. "Pop" Boyette, age 79 of Lindale, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale with Rev. Byron Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery. Mr. Boyette died Friday, March 25, 2016 at his residence in Lindale. He was born in Phoenix, AR on March 2, 1937. He was a lifelong resident of Lindale raised by Mamie and Jesse Waters. Mr. Boyette attended Central Baptist Church in Lindale. He retired from the Carrier Corporation and Ensco Offshore Drilling Company. He is preceded in death by wife, Betty Jean Boyette in 2003, 2 daughters, Shelia Nolen in 2013 and Barbara Munoz in 2014, and granddaughter, Allyssa Boyette in 1985. He is survived by wife, Wanda Boyette of Lindale; daughters, Theresa and Terry Whatley of Sweetwater, AL; Peggy Boyette of Lindale; Charlotte Rosser of Lindale; Joann and Charles West of Lindale; Connie and William Glasscock of Lindale; Sandy and John Skinner of Ben Wheeler; one son, Roy Boyette of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Bush of Taft, CA; nephews, Steve Rhodes of Kemp; and Robert Minsky of Lindale; special friend, Benny Jones of Aimwell, LA. Serving as pallbearers will be Benny Jones, Willis Bagley, William Glasscock, Ronald Sharp, Michael Rhodes, and Gary Moore. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. A special thanks to Willis Bagley and Rayne Barfield with Genesis Hospice for the special care they provided.
