Doyn Inman

Doyn Inman, 88, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away Friday, October 15, 2004.He was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 10, 1916. He and his family moved to West Allis, Wisconsin in 1921. He became a champion swimmer in high school and the University of Wisconsin where he set many swimming records. He lived in the Milwaukee area until 1982, when he and his wife Mabel moved to Sun City West, Arizona.He was very active in the Masonic Fraternity of Wisconsin, having served as Grand Master in 1966. He was Master of Lafayette Lodge #265 and was the Grand Secretary of some 50,000 Wisconsin Masons from 1972 to 1982. He was a member of Tripoli Shrine of Milwaukee, the Wisconsin Scottish Rite and the York Rite. In 1959 he was bestowed the honorary 33rd degree of the Scottish Rite Valley of Milwaukee. In addition he was the Past Sovereign of St. Wilfred's Conclave, Red Cross Constantine in 1971. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and an honorary Past Grandmaster of the Arizona Masonic Lodge.He and his wife Mabel celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary this year. Doyn will be remembered as a loving husband and father as well as a successful businessman. He and his wife, Mabel created Inman Oil, Inc. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which they owned and operated for more than two decades.He will be greatly missed by his wife, Mabel, nee Holz and their two sons: Tom (Maricia) Inman of Scottsdale, Arizona and Gerald (Micaela) Inman of Minocqua, Wisconsin, as well as five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.Visitation will be held Saturday, October 23, 2004 from 10:30 A.M. until the service at 11:30 A.M. at the Chapel of the Chimes at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin. The service will be conducted by the Grand Lodge of Wisconsin.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to any Masonic Charity, in his name.Arrangements handled by Friedrichs Funeral Home, Mt.
