Dr. Hogancamp was an incredibly intelligent, kind, and empathetic physician. My mother had Addison's Disease while he was our PCP. He cured her! It's being said now this disease is incurable. Dr. Hogancamp hospitalized Mom and cured her He also was able to get me out of anorexia, before it was actually named. I am forever grateful to this amazing man

God bless you for all you did. You made house calls when other doctors didn't. You cared for our children and for us over 50 years ago. Your family has our deepest sympathy for someone so dearly loved.

Carol,
I remember the first time I really got to know your dad...I had just started working at the MoBapt Health Center (which is now Pasta House). He couldn't have been nicer. He would tell some of the funniest stories and we never knew, for sure, if he was just pulling our leg or not. He always remembered that you, Mike and I all went to school together, and when your mom was in rehab at Mdw., he walked in and I said "Dr. H", I didn't think he'd remember me but he did. We talked about the 'low sodium' popcorn that he liked.
Such an amazing man who was always so proud of his family. Happy thoughts and memories will keep him with you forever.
My thoughts and prayers to you all.

I knew Doc via his grandson, Bryan, and how often Bryan and I would go over to Doc's house. Doc was always a wonderful person to be around, with a kind word for anyone. It is a blessing he was with his family for so long and I can only imagine how he will be missed by all those whom he shared life with.

Dr Hogancamp was one of the finest men, and the best family doctor, our family ever knew. He was kind, gentle and genuinely concerned about our well being, and I don't think we ever dreaded going to his office. He would still inquire about my family, decades after we were no longer his patients, and remembered my parents' names. He was a source of comfort and care during our childhood days. Our condolences to the family he leaves behind. We will miss him, also.
