Dr. Mark Jaffe Obituary
Dr. Jaffe was an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with over 40 years of clinical experience. He received his dental degree from Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine in New York City and completed his residency training at the reputable Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Jaffe was a former Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Oral Surgery at Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Jaffe was the Chief and Director of the Dental Department at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for 18 years where he became a founding member of the Department of Bloodless Surgery. Dr. Jaffe was a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Jaffe was in private practice in Bergenfield, NJ for over 35 years before retiring in 2020.
Dr. Jaffe was a life-long student of philosophy, accomplished photographer, and avid fly-fisherman.
