Duane Ness, 61, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on September 7, 2025. Born on January 19, 1964, Duane was the son of the late Mary Ellen and Donald Ness. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Ness.

He is survived by his brother, Donald Ness; sister, Jackie Arauzo; children, Melissa (Sara) Colaianne, Dennis Ness, and Colleen (James) Daw; and three cherished grandchildren.

Duane was a passionate sports fan, with a particular devotion to the Dallas Cowboys. His enthusiasm for the team was a well-known aspect of his personality, bringing joy (and a little stress) to his family during football season. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Interment private.

I´m so shocked and saddened to hear the news. Duane was always the most athletic of any of the kids in the neighborhood, except perhaps Donny. You are all in my prayers.
