HORTON, Dudley Raymond
June 30, 1924 - January 3, 2018
Predeceased by his wife Ruby in 2006. Survived by his son Darryl (Tracy), daughters Susan (Don), Darlene and Donna, grandchildren Naomi (James), Nathan (Jenn) and Doug (Marg), and great-grandchildren James and Tyra. Dudley served in the Canadian Air Force during World War II. He enjoyed several careers including farmer, builder, developer and realtor. Known for his intelligence and curiosity, he read only non- fiction, followed current events closely, and enjoyed lively discussions about science, economics, politics and global affairs. His many hobbies over the years included boat building, sailing and gardening. He loved to make things grow and always had beautiful flower beds and prolific vegetable gardens. By request, there will be no funeral service; an informal gathering of family and friends will be arranged later.
