Dustin Bernard Obituary
Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Dustin Slade Bernard, 23, who passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until 1:00 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday.
Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his parents, Barron and Debbie Hardy Bernard of Breaux Bridge; his brother and godfather, Dax Bernard and fiancée Jennifer Maslowski of Breaux Bridge; his special sister Tara Nicole Bernard of Breaux Bridge; nephew, Connor Bernard of Breaux Bridge; godmother, Wanda Lastrapes and spouse Chad of Cecilia; aunts, Shannon Metcalf of Lafayette, Renella Berard and husband Cliff of Breaux Bridge, Marelle Huval and husband Richard of Cecilia, and Patsy Blevins and husband Rob of VA; uncles, Dave Hardy and wife Nona of Breaux Bridge, Reggie Hardy and wife Maureen of Breaux Bridge, Allen "Cookie" Speight of Houston, TX, and Donald Breaux of Breaux Bridge; and numerous cousins, and his dog Nova
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Andrew "Kellogg" and Odette Bernard; maternal grandparents, John and Audrey Hardy; aunt, Jean Nell Breaux; first cousin, Robert Huval; and second cousin, Noah Buras.
