Dear Dustin,
I never thought you´d leave too soon.. I really wish you were still here.. wish you called me.. wish you called more often in the last few years, I missed our talks and the depth of the connection we shared.. like no other.. such a bright soul and sharp mind.. you are forever in my heart
I am thankful for the time we shared, thankful for the ways in which you affected me, the music you showed me that still gets me through hard times even now, the books we read together, talks about politics, history, and Truth.. the endless laughs and adventures.. so many unbelievable adventures..
I pray that you are in a better place now, that your heart is at peace, and that you bring even more light where ever you may go.. I know I will see you again

He brought light to my darkness, taught me how to live, and what it was like to be fiercely protected and loved. My favorite person to talk with, share laughter, and to just be in his presence. He taught me how to confidently reverse a vehicle into a tight spot and his patience and the laughter we shared during those moments were one of a kind. He asked me to be his "forever best friend" and I couldn't be any happier. The last song we danced to was Clint Black-Like the Rain and Dustin will always be my favorite person to dance with. His arms felt like home, calmed any storm I was enduring and could make any day brighter just by being there. I loved the laughter and stories we had to share for having the same MEPS doctor. Listening to him talk about his passion for adventure, books, history, chess, and love for animals were always my favorite stories to hear. Dustin was such an intelligent, kind, and fun-loving man. Truly a beautiful person on the inside and out. I'm so thankful our last words were saying "I love you" to each other. You will be forever missed and loved.

Sorry to hear of Dustin's passing. Some fun times were had when we were kids.
