Dylan Schwarz Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 8, 2022.
Dylan Scott Schwarz, age 20, of Cypress, Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at 1:17 am. Born in Houston on March 20, 2002, he was the son of Darren Scott Schwarz and the late Laura Cardenas Schwarz.

Dylan lit up every room with his smile. He could make even the most serious person laugh with his endearing sense of humor. He loved animals and was known for taking in any cat or dog he found on the streets. He was a wonderful cook and enjoyed helping his grandmother in the kitchen during the holidays, especially with the oyster stuffing. Dylan was also an avid Dallas Cowboy & college football fan, who enjoyed and appreciated all sports. He never passed on any opportunities to go fishing in the Laguna Madre Bay during family visits to South Padre Island. Those who knew and loved Dylan will remember him as a thoughtful, clever, and loving person.

Dylan is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Cardenas Schwarz, and is survived by his father, Darren Scott Schwarz, his sister, Kira Brynn Schwarz, and his brother, Mitchell Tobin Schwarz, and grandparents: Laura Tobin Cardenas (mother) and Carl & Toni Schwarz (father). Dylan had numerous and cherished cousins, uncles, aunts and friends who all were amazing influences during his life, and of whom he loved dearly.

A memorial service for Dylan will be scheduled and announced in the near future.

I will always cherish the memories of Thanksgiving nights when "the cousins" - Dylan, Kira, Mitchell, Camille and Marcella - would spend the night at our house, playing inventive games, laughing loudly into the early morning hours, and enjoying cinnamon rolls when they finally woke up! Precious memories. Dylan, your vibrant smile and jovial spirit will always be with me. My love will always be with you. -Aunt Shauna
