Dylan Thompson

Dylan C. Thompson, 43, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2025.

Born on December 29, 1981, in Clinton, Oklahoma, Dylan was the son of Calvin and Sherri Thompson. He spent his early years in Oklahoma, Nevada, and Texas, developing a love for the outdoors and cherishing time spent with family during the holidays.

Dylan graduated from the Clark County School District and built a career in the manufacturing, HVAC, and construction industries. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his profession. Beyond his career, Dylan found joy in traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with those he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Myranda Thompson; his son, Bryan Samuel Thompson; stepchildren, Craig Garcia and Honie Garcia; and his daughter, Kaitlyn Thompson, along with her mother, Jennifer Thompson. He is also survived by his mother, Sherri Thompson; uncles, Tony Simmons and Glenn Thompson; brother, Bryan Lee Thompson, and his wife Monica Thompson; as well as nieces and nephews Dylan J. Thompson, Kennedy Thompson, and Wyatt Thompson. Dylan will be deeply missed by numerous extended family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Lee Thompson; and grandparents, Calvin Love and Roselea Thompson of Gainesville, Texas, and Jack and Norma Simmons of Las Vegas, Nevada.

A service to honor his life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Palm Downtown Mortuary & Cemetery, 1325 N Main St., Las Vegas, NV 89101. A viewing will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a service from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. A reception will follow at 6309 Clarice Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89107.
