Ruth Baldwin Dill went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2023

at the age of 92. She was born on March 20, 1931 the daughter of William Ernest and Leila Juanita (Day) Baldwin in Milano, Texas.

She was the executive director of the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation of Indiana for almost 20 years, retiring in 1993. After a few years of retirement she enjoyed eight years as a bus aide for special needs children for the Carmel Clay School District, retiring in 2013. Ruth loved flowers and was a master gardener. She did Flowers by Dill for many years, creating beautiful gardens and pots for a variety of clients.

She was a long time member of East 91st St. Christian Church in Indianapolis where she served in various ministries throughout the years. She enjoyed time with family and friends, was an avid reader and was often found working in her gardens.

Ruth is survived by her son Todd Stillinger, step-daughters Betsy Gladden, and Nancy (John) Borland; Grandchildren: Melissa (Phil) Hipskind, David (Bre) Clevenger, Katie (Matt) Garrison, Daniel (Abbey) Clevenger, Aaron (Alyssa) Clevenger, and Erica & Caden Stillinger; Great-Grandchildren: John & Carmine Garrison, Oakley & Carsten Clevenger, Izzy Hipskind, Bowen & Hattie Lou Clevenger and Sawyer Clevenger.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 40 years, Scott Dill, her five brothers, one sister, an infant granddaughter, Katelynn Stillinger, and sons-in-law John Gladden and Jeff Clevenger.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm, Monday, May 1, 2023 at East 91st St. Christian Church, 6049 East 91st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46250 with calling from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial immediately following at Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or The Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation, PO Box 776, Carmel, IN 46032.
