To all of the Phipps family - we are so saddened that death has visited you all again. We knew your parents, and all of you by way of Ruby Bruns, who taught most of the older children at Stegall many years ago. She is my mother (Judy Watson) and she spoke highly of the family then, and I attended high school with Jane and Virgil a year or so ahead of me, and Geraldine as one of my best and dearest friends and classmate. Now I get to enjoy June as she is a member of the Canyon PB church where we are charter members too. We are sorry for the sorrow of losing such precious ones from our midst, but know it is to a better place we all have hoped to go one day. Let us rejoice that E.G. has gone to his Master's calling. We love you all...Judy (Bruns) and Howard Watson, Muleshoe.

My sincere condolences to the Phipps family at this sad time. My sister is Brenda Baxter. She spoke of your family with such love and admiration I felt I knew EG and your family.
