SHIRLEY NUNLEY
CHATTAROY, W.Va. — Shirley Faye "Baw-Baw" Nunley, age 76, of Chattaroy, W.Va., passed away Monday, November 7, 2016, at Tug Valley ARH Medical Center at South Williamson, Ky. Born September 18, 1940, in Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Otis and Lenore McClure Carter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Nunley, in 1976.
Faye was an 18 year employee of the former Jimmy's Shoe Store, a resident of Chattaroy of for 46 years, and was of the Church of God faith. She was a loving homemaker and always was seeing to the needs of others.
Survivors include one son, Rodney (Michelle) Nunley of Chattaroy; two daughters: Angelia Renae Nunley and Wanda Ray, both of Charleston, W.Va.; two brothers: Jim Carter of Michigan and Benjamin Carter of Florida; four sisters: Kathrine James of Pinsonfork, Ky., Donna Anderson of Michigan, Betty Rogers of Arizona, and Carol Peterson of Florida; four grandchildren: Kim Hensley, Tiffany Gore, Hailei Nunley, and Michael Ray, and three great-grand-children Madyson Hensley, Damian Hensley, and Alexis Gore.
A special "Thank You" goes to the 2nd floor and ICU staff at ARH for their care.
Private family services will be observed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hatfield Funeral Chapel of Toler, Ky.
