Since my ex-husband was military i have worked in many places to include germany, texas, new york, tennessee, and georgia and you Earl were the greatest boss i had ever known. I had worked for you from 1991 to 2008 and you taught me how to take care of both business and people. You loved your customers and treated everyone like family. Earl you were the hardest working man i knew, working all night and then most of the day. I remember the times when we used to work hand and hand on the car wash, and even more fondly the times we would spend repairing the vacuum cleaner. I admired how when you got so upset when a situation didn't work out i knew a few seconds later things would be just fine. You would roar like a lion and the next second be the sweetest lamb. How I always could count on you Earl. I always knew if everything else failed, you would pick me up brushed me off and sent me on my way. I could go on, but to list everything that Earl has done in my life i would be writing today, tomorrow, and in to next week. Earl, we love you and you will be sorely missed so until we meet again know that you live on through the many lives you touched, and know you will never be forgotten as long as i breathe, for you live in my heart and the hearts of my children always.

My Dearest Pam & Evelyn
I am so sorry for your loss my heart goes out to you both. It is a loss for everyone. Earl was the best and hardest working man i ever knew, as well as the closest thing i ever had to a dad growing up. I remember a time when mom was struggling to raise us all and we were going to have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for Thanksgiving and Earl wouldn't have it. He then invited us to have dinner at the holiday inn and made sure that we were taken care of. Earl always made us feel welcome no matter what. He kept me in line as well, because I was always trying to push my borders. He saved me from a lifetime of bad judgements, and will always be very fondly remembered. Pam i so wish i could be there for you right now, i have always considered you as a sister and it pains me to be so far away at a time like this. Know that i am there in spirt and am just a phone call away.
Earl will surely be missed by all of us and will always be alive in our hearts and memories.
We love you all, and know that you are in our prayers and thoughts.

Dear Evelyn, Angela, & Pam,
Earl did what we all should strive to do. He made a difference with his life. The world is a better place because he touched so many people. He had a beautiful service. He is at peace now. His spirit lives on. We will see him again someday. Until then, happy fishing Earl!!! :) I am thinking and praying for you all. I know it will be hard for you not seeing him each day. Trust that he is happy and would want you to be happy too. I love you all!

I remember Earl back when I use to go to the Knights of Ga many years ago. I always remember that he would be sitting at the door greeting everyone and would always give a hug and kiss to the ladies..you knew you would be safe there with Earl. He did not allow trouble in his club..May god be with his family in their time of sadness. Earl you will be truely missed.

I had the pleasure of first meeting Mr. Earl back in 1988 when I first moved back to Valdosta. Earl was the nicest man you'd ever want to know. He'd always speak to you when he saw you. He and Pam were always the "ROCk" of keeping the New Knights enjoyable and fun. Pam - I'll miss your dad - He was truly a "New Knight." May the Lord bless you during this time - always remember the good times. I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Anyone who grew up in the Valdosta area remembers the Knights of Georgia out on Bemiss Rd. A good time was always had by all. I was introduced to Mr. Earl by my sisters back around 1978. He was always there to see to it you had a good "safe" time. I'll never forget his warm friendly smile. He always remembered me as one of the Cole girls. He will be dearly missed. Cherish the many memories you have of Mr. Earl.
