Ed "Slats" Satterly
age 68, of Plainfield, passed away on September 3, 2014 in St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on December 3, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to Sherman and Ruby Gritton Satterly. He married Diana Ward in 1966, she survives. Ed retired from AT&T after 38 years of service. He was very active coaching boy's baseball and basketball from 1980 through the 2000's.Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. A remembrance service will take place at 6 p.m. in the funeral home on Monday evening. Survivors include his wife, Diana Ward Satterly; son, Eddie Satterly Jr.; daughter, Amy Satterly; grandchildren, Dustin, Nik, Hailey, Samantha, Jeremiah, and Bentley. I am truly sorry for your loss, I went to school with Ed, loved his parents and really liked ED. He was always nice to me. I am sure that he will be missed greatly.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with "Slats" many yrs on and off. We shared coffee a few times with fellow employees. He was always upbeat.
