Eddie Edgar

C. Edward Edgar, Eddie, was born in Los Angeles, California on July 1st,1971. Eddie was born with Down's Syndrome and faced many medical challenges while growing up. His parents, Doris and Clyde Edgar and older sister Kathy, moved to Agoura Hills from Los Angeles in 1972 . There the Edgar's were blessed with three more children, Chris, Jennifer and Heather. Eddie attended special education classes, preschool at Valley Village , West Valley Elementary School, and graduated from Leachman High School in the Valley in 1993. Eddie was very social and loved attending the Conejo Recreation and Park District Therapeutic Recreation events. Eddie was involved in many activities including scouting at Leachman. He loved family activities and meeting people. Eddie always brought a smile from everyone he met. After Graduation he enrolled at PathPoint then known as Work Training Programs. PathPoint provided Eddie with many social and educational opportunities and helped him to lead a full life until his sudden passing on Saturday January the 7th, 2012. Eddie passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family and is survived by his parents , his brother and sisters. He will be greatly missed by all. We knew this time was coming and that he was in congestive heart failure but it's still very hard to deal with, it helps to know that he's in God's hands and in a better place now with no more suffering. He was such a trooper and never complained about all the surgery's and pain he had to endure. Even with all his disabilities he enjoyed life so much and being part of our family.
