Mr. Eddie Lee Meeks Jr.

Eddie Lee Meeks Jr, son of Eddie Lee Sr. and Janice Meeks, was born March 22, 1969 in Manhattan, New York. He departed this life peacefully at home on February 14, 2019 in Selma, NC. He attended Smithfield Selma Senior High School and he was a concrete finisher for 22 years. He truly loved his family and always put them first. He loved spending time at the beach with his family and was devoted and loved by all. Eddie leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife of twenty–three years, Deborah Meeks; two daughters, Dynyale Haley-Meeks and Danesha Meeks; one granddaughter, A"Aliyah Brown; two sisters, Beverley Cooper (Morris Sr.) of Fayetteville, NC and Barbara Neal (Jay) of Kenly, NC; sister-in-law Beverly Burns of Washington, DC; two brothers-in-law, Michael Burns (Jencina) of Michigan and the late Linwood Burns of Selma, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly, and a special Uncle Tyrone "Tye".
