Eddie Shafer Obituary
Funeral services will be held at the Grady Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 10:00 am with Pastor Greg Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the San Jon Cemetery.
Eddie Rae was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother, loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was a member of Grady Baptist Church and enjoyed going to senior dances.
Eddie Rae was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Nancy; 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
Eddie Rae's memory will be cherished by her husband, Wesley Jr. Shafer of Grady; her daughter, Vicky Haggerton of Carlsbad; and Tresa (Stuart) Pond of Grady. Eddie was blessed with 3 grandchildren Taris Smith (Taylor), Alora Shaetter (Danny), Dustin Mudgett (Chelsie Dugan) and 5 great-grandchildren Jaya, Baron Smith, Hayden, Jaxton, Kinsley Shetter.
Services for Eddie Rae were held, Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Grady Baptist Church followed with internment at San John Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Sam Starkey, Jimmy Collins, Shane Collins, Bucky Stone, Kyson Stone and Dusty Stone. Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Mudgett (Chelsie Dugan); Taylor, Taris, Jaya, Baron Smith, Danny, Alora, Hayden, Jaxton, Kinsley Shetter.
Services are under the care of Steed Todd Funeral Home, 800 E Manana, Clovis, NM 88101 (575) 763-5541. You may sign the online guest registration at www.steedtodd.com.
