EDDIE WHITTAKER MBE
(of Stoke Goldington)
The Godchildren of Eddie Whittaker wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who attended Eddie's funeral. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
Thank you for the cards and letters of condolence, the floral tributes and the donations to the British Heart Foundation. A big thank you to Christa Cerratti for her wonderful, celebratory service which captured the essence of Eddie and his life. Our gratitude is extended to the staff in the ITU unit at Northampton General Hospital for their care and kindness shown to Eddie and ourselves. Finally our thanks to
H. Mason and Sons for their guidance with the funeral arrangements.
MELVYN SIBLEY
(of Olney)
Vera and family would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral of our much loved and treasured Melvyn Sibley. The sudden departure of Melvyn (three weeks after his best friend, Eddie Whittaker) has obviously come as a shock to the family and to many people in Olney. He will be deeply missed.
Thank you for the sympathy cards, good wishes and the donations to Willen Hospice. We are extremely grateful to Brenda Hustwaite for her wonderful, warm and celebratory service and to Celia Dashfield for her touching singing. Our gratitude is extended to the cricket club and football club members who provided a guard of honour.
Thanks also to the caring members of staff on the CDU ward at Milton Keynes Hospital. Finally, many thanks to Roy and Ann Mason for their friendship and support throughout this difficult time.
