Eddie Wong Obituary
He is survived by his wife Bonnie of 65 years; sons Jack and Jeffrey; sister Laila Chan along with relatives in China and the United States.
Eddie was born in Taisun, China where upon his graduation he immediately went to work in the jewellery business. He immigrated to Winnipeg in 1952 and first worked as a waiter. Later he became a co-owner of the Wagon Wheel Cafe on Hargrave Street. Subsequently he worked as head chef at Chan's Cafe for many years and later at Cathay House until his retirement in 1994.
A private service will be held at Bardal Funeral Home.
