Edith M. Falco, 81, formerly of Palmer Township, died on Thursday, April 7, 2005 in Old Orchard Healthcare Center. Born: On October 10, 1923 in Pen Argyl, she was a daughter of the late George and Gertrude Beers Vosper. Personal: Her husband, Edward, died on March 17, 1996. Edith was a 1941 graduate of Pen Argyl High School. Memberships: She was a member of Faith Unity United Church of Christ, formerly St. Mark's U.C.C., where she served on the consistory as a deacon, was active as financial secretary and was a longtime member of the choir. She was also a member of the 59'ers and Diana's organizations at the church. Edith was also a member of William Parsons Chapter #185 Order of Eastern Star, and the Ambassador Club at St. Paul's III Lutheran Church. Survivors: She is survived by two sons, David E. and his wife, Ann Marie of Forks Township, Steven L. of Hyde Park, NY; three grandchildren, Kelly Heiber, David M. and Lindsay Falco; and two great-grandchildren. A daughter, Kristine J. Kelly, died in 2002. Services: Will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township. Memorials: May be made to the church, 1017 Lehigh Street, Easton, PA 18042; or to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
