WAKARUSA - Edith (Vance) Fuller went home to be with her Lord at the age of 98 at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, Indiana, on Monday, June 4, 2012, at 8:50 pm. Edith was born August 16, 1913, in Claypool, Indiana, to Laymon and Emma (Thompson) Vance. Edith grew up in the Claypool area on the family farm. She attended Hidie Elementary School of rural Claypool. She was a 1931 graduate of Claypool High School. Following graduation from high school, Edith attended Manchester College. Edith married Ernest B. Fuller in 1933 in Athens, Indiana. Ernest and Edith were married for 58 years. Edith attended the Congregational Christian Church, now the Argos Bible Church, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School for many years. She was very active in the Missionary Review Society. Edith loved traveling, gardening, crocheting, make crafts, and volunteered her services to many organizations. She was most proud of her three sons. Surviving Edith are three sons, Melvin (Ann) of Fort Myers, Florida, Marvin (Donna) of Gold Canyon, Arizona, Leonard (Linda) of Wakarusa, Indiana. Five grandchildren, Mike (Jennifer) Fuller of Michigan, Kathy Powell of Colorado, Cheryl (Wally) Jablow of California, Judy (Chris) Jordan of Wakarusa and Rhonda (Gary) Longfield of Wakarusa. Eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Edith in death were her husband, her parents, and her brother, Morris. Visitation will be at the Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 West Waterford St., Wakarusa, IN 46573, on Thursday, June 7, 2012, from 10 am to 11 am, with the funeral service at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2 pm at the Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe, IN, with a short graveside service. Officiating will be Pastor Norm Reimer of the Nappanee Missionary Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Argos Bible Church, M.R.S., 225 S Michigan St., Argos, IN 46501. Condolences may be sent to www.rrefh.com.

So sorry for your loss. Edith and my grandma, Esther, became such sweet friends at Millers Merry Manor and I know my grandma will miss her very much.
