Edith Haynes Obituary
On Friday, February 17, 2012, Edith "Edie" M. Haynes of Lansdowne, MD. Beloved wife of 63 years to Wallace " Gail" G. Haynes. Loving mother of Sharon L. Drury and her husband Rick, Juanita L. Miller and her husband Jim, Michael G. Haynes and his wife Patricia, Doug A. Haynes and his wife Polly and the late Kenneth P. Haynes. Sister of Mary Lou Carnes and the late June Dorn. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD21075 (exit 6 off Rt. 100) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm where service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.

Mom we miss and think of you all the time, but at least you are at peace. You would be so proud of how dad is doing. Thank you so much for how you raised us. Mom as we approch the first year of you going home to peace, we all still miss you very much. We all thinhk about you every day. and often talk about many many good memories. At least you are at peace and not suffering. Tell Kenny that we also think of him all the time. You would be proud of how good dad has done.

Mrs. Edith I just want to thank you for the warm embrace you gave me 11 years ago when i came into this family, You always made me feel so apart of everything. You and Pop are by far the best parents, Grandparents and Great grandparents I have ever known and I strive to be like you to my children and family. You have showed me what a family is supposed to be like. You will be truly missed by us all but you have also left a lasting impression on so many people I hope you took that with you knowing how loved you where by your family and friends. Mom you are already missed so much. Thank you for raising me the way you and dad did. I remember how proud you were of me when I went back to school and recieved my diploma. The lessons that you both taught were lessons for life, more than could have been learned in books. You both made such an impact on the success of my family. We will all take care of dad. Mom Haynes you will be greatly missed. You and Pop will always be the model marriage that everyone should emulate. I wished that i hadn't gave up so early ...
