I just discovered this opportunity as I was scrolling through my Facebook friends. Although I was unable to physically attend your homegoing ceremony I was blessed with the opportunity to watch the proceedings on zoom. Again, I would like to say thank you in spirit to you Aunt Edith for the love and
kindness you showed me as a youth and accepting me into your life and your home with no hesitation at a time I was spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally lost. You will always have a place in my heart and I will never forget you. I love you Aunt Edith, continue to rest in the loving kindness of our savior's arms throughout all eternity.

I just want to send my condolences to the family. My thoughts and prayers go to you all in this time of grieving. I met Mr and Mrs.. Hines through Sam a very dear friend who went to be with the Lord. As soon as I met Mrs. Hines I immediately knew she was warm and loving and kind. We would always talk at the dinner table about life. She will be missed. Love from Jake.

Moma Hines was God sent to myself and Alisha. I stationed at AF Space Command and was extremely worried about finding quality day care for my 6 month old baby girl. Ms. K. Hurt a dear friend asked Moma Hines if she would care for Alisha. She opened that huge heart of hers and said yes. Moma Hines adopted both Alisha and myself. She mothered Alisha for almost 3 years, completely spoiling her. She was God’s gift to my family. We love her and will never, ever stop loving this grand woman.

Although I did not know Mother Hines well, I knew she was truly a remarkable steward of God. My Aunt Mary loved and cared for her like her own Mother and introduced Mother Hines into my life! Mother Hines as talented as she was, she always made time to ask about me and this speaks volumes about her compassion and love for everyone. Rest peacefully in our Lord's hands, you have returned home. God speed to all of Mother Hines' family.
