Hello Schippers & Huffard families

Condolences from Rutherford, N.J.

The parents of Edith (nee Schippers) settled at 135 and 244 Mountain Way in Rutherford, residing there the year Edith was born, 1915. Folks have asked about Edith's tie to Rutherford, which appears to be until parents Jacob and Cerise moved to Long Island in about 1919-1920, and then Connecticut. Her older bother, Jack M. Schippers, would likely have attended Sylvan School in those days.

We always loved spending quality time with Edith when she visited Jay and Kirk in Madison , especially over many July 4th week ends. We will always remember her as regal , lovely, very smart and always interesting, fun member and matriarch of the wonderful Huffard family !

Please know my thoughts are with you. Julia you and your family are very much in heart during this time. Your Grandmother was a classic lady. I remember my father talking of her often. With much love , Connie
