Kelly, Edith Anne 1938-2017. Edie, age 78 of Westbrook Village, Peoria, AZ passed away after a year battle with liver bile duct cancer and related illnesses. Born in North Syracuse, NY, she moved to the Phoenix metropolitan area in 1945. She attended Sunnyslope High School and graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a Fine Arts degree in Music Education. Next to her family, music was her passion, singing throughout the United States and Europe as a spinto lyric soprano. She also was a choir director with several churches throughout her life, a musical director for theater productions and was a beloved music teacher for Phoenix Country Day School. But, the most important treasure in her life was her husband and family. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Kelly of Peoria, AZ; daughter, Kathy Kelly-Boadway (Mike) of Palmer, AK; daughter, Wendy Kelly-Reeve (Roger) of Oakland, NJ; daughter(-in-law), Cindy Kelly of Maricopa, AZ; grandchildren, Beckah Dzuriga (Keith), Brittany Alger (Justin), Michael Hyde, Cameron Kelly-Josse, Chandler Kelly-Josse; great grandchildren, Chance and Christian Batton and soon to be born, Dakota Alger; and her sister, Carol Jacanin. Edie was preceded in death by her sons, Gerald "Jeep" Brian Kelly, Jr. and Michael Patrick Kelly. Services will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at Hansen Desert Hill Chapel, 6500 East Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Amer
