Edith Lichty Smith age 94 of Strafford PA passed away on February 7 2024. Edith was born in Upper Darby PA on December 23, 1929 the daughter of Kendrick Lichty and Margaret Howes growing up in Upper Darby with her late beloved sister Winifred Moxon.

She was the wife of the late John S. Wilson and the late Warner C. Smith. She had four children of which her eldest son John Sedden Wilson has since deceased. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Bucci and Margaret Farrell, and by her son Mark R. Wilson. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren: Laura McKleon, Christine McAndrew, Rachel Georges, Danny Wilson, Heather Getley, Josh Bucci, Brandon Farrell, Nicole Cole, Hannah Linton, Hadassah Wilson, Josiah Wilson, Jeremiah Wilson, Jesse Wilson. We must also mention that she is survived by 17 great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Edith was a realtor for 40 years and received several awards for a million dollar seller. For thirty-eight years, Edith played golf at Saint Davids Golf Club. She received three player of the year awards, including one at the age of 91.

Her funeral service will be held at saint Davids Episcopal Church, 763 S. Valley Forge Rd. in Wayne PA on February 15 at 11:00 am.
