Edith Elizabeth "Edie" Walker

I worked with Edie at Dhhr for several years. Edie was a wonderful person, she loved her work and she loved her family. Prayers for her family, she is truly missed

I am Edie's much older half-sister (same father). I remember when she was born and that she was a loving, sweet little girl with a ready laugh and a love of animals. Although we were separated by the miles for most of our lives, I observed and admired the life she built, including a wonderful family, educational accomplishments, and a fulfilling career of service. She was a wonderful person and was taken too soon. May her memory always be a blessing. Vicki Bigelow
