Dear Family of Edie Wessell,
You have my condolences. I just learned about Edie while reminiscing with a friend. I enjoyed seeing her at the Field Club. She was always so personable and easy to visit. Holding you in prayer.

Edie was one of the first people to really make Pittsburgh feel welcome to me. She was remarkably attentive and always looking out for the people she cared about. I adored working with her I hope she can know how loved and missed she will be.

I was so sorry to hear about Edie. I knew her from Ambiance, first as a customer then as a co-worker. She always had us laughing. I know she will be missed. Help each other through this most difficult time and remember all those special moments with your Mom.

Edie was one of my favorite people and I am so happy I got to know her and work together. She felt like a second mom to me. Even though we were so far apart in age I felt like we were kindred spirits. She was truly a great friend and I will miss our dinners at together Hoffstots. Sending love and support to her family during this time.

Edie became like a second Mom to me during our time working together over the past couple of years. She was one of the most loving people I've ever met, always thinking of others first. She spoke of her children and grandchildren with so much energy and love. Edie had a spirit and energy that just pulled you right in. My seven year old daughter Lily loved visiting with her at the boutique, sharing lunch with her, and helping her sort jewelry. We will miss her terribly. My deepest condolences to her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. You are all in my prayers.

Dear Dee Dee and Jim,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies at Edie's passing.
She and my beloved (late) sister Lisa were great friends growing up and I remember her always being so kind to me as a boy, holding my hand while crossing Pasadena Rd. onto your side of Elmhurst Rd.
Edie was also a great supporter of Foxwall EMS, of which your mom was a charter board member.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you both as you grieve her loss, but remember the wonderful times that we hold so dearly. Know that her sadness is no more and she is finally at rest.
With deepest condolences,
Cindy Hank
