Ed McKeegan, beloved husband of Rita McKeegan of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the age of 70 years. Ed was born in Montreal and moved with the family to Ottawa when he was 10. In Ottawa, Ed attended St. Patrick's and Rideau High Schools as well as EOIT. Ed and Rita were married in Ottawa on July 10, 1971. Ed's career with 3M Canada spanned for over thirty years in Ottawa and Calgary. Ed is survived by his loving wife Rita, one son and daughter-in-law Blake and Jenny McKeegan, two grandchildren, Kiernan and Riohlan, a sister Alberta (David) Casey and their daughters Ruthie and Elizabeth, cousins Blake (Paulette) McWilliam, their son Blair, and Robyn McWilliam, her daughters Amanda and Chelsea, as well as many other cousins, their families and dear friends, especially the KDM family.
