Edna M. Comer

Edna Mae Comer, 70, of Coal Grove, passed away Monday (June 14, 2010) at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky. The Lawrence County, Ohio native was born July 15, 1939, the daughter of the late John T. and Hazel Stapleton Comer. Ms. Comer was of the Baptist faith. Her family wrote that she was an angel to the family and her handicaps never dampened her spirits. She brought joy to all of the family during her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 3 brothers: Ralph Comer, Dick Comer and James Comer She is survived by: 2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Jack and Betty Comer of Ironton and Don and Wanda Comer of Coal Grove 2 sisters and a brother-in-law: Glenna Comer of Ironton and Judy and Tom Jones of Coal Grove several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday (June 16, 2010) at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Revs. Don and Larry Comer officiating.
