ENDERS Edna Margaret (nee Griffiths) Born in Briercrest, Saskatchewan on September 25, 1917. Passed away in West Vancouver February 1, 2008. Edna shared her love of crafts and painting by teaching and volunteering at many community and senior centres in the lower mainland. She was an accomplished seamstress, and her love of travel took her around the world. Edna was predeceased by her husband Hallie David, and is survived by daughters Shirley (Paul Scobel), Carolyn (Ross Rivers), and son David (Bev); grandchildren Shaun (Lauren), Carly, Jen (George), Jesse (Leanna) Amanda and Matt; great granddaughter Avienne; sister-in-law Della, and nieces Carol, Gail and their families. The family would like to thank Dr. Genevieve Lauzon and the staff and caregivers at Capilano Care Centre for their kindness and compassion. The family will celebrate her life at a private memorial service. If you wish, a donation in Edna's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society where she served as a volunteer for many years.
