You are indeed fortunate to have had Edna for a mother. I know I always regarded her as more of a sister than a sister-in-law. Her dedication and straight-forward approach to life is an inspiration to all. She will always be with you in spirit.

Bill and family,

We have not seen each other since high school Bill, but when I read of your mother’s death I wanted to send a message. Although I did not know her well, on the few occasions I did see her she was always surrounded by friends, and her great love of God and family was very evident. My sincerest condolences to you and your family at this time.

Dear Billy and Larry,

Your mother was my mentor as a teacher (the best I could ask for) and she was my friend and colleague.

May you cherish all the great memories you had together as a family. I remember so many we had together. For example, every Friday at noon we had lunch together at Ti-Cail on St-Raymond in Hull. Imagine we ate hamburgers and fries with a soft drink. It was our Friday reward for being the BEST TEACHERS in the world.

I will always cherish her in my heart. God bless her and you.

Sincerely,

Anne Beaudry

Bill, Larry and Family,
I can only add similar sentiments to those already expressed. Your mother was an extremely generous, caring person who took time for everyone. She always amazed me with her energy. Like so many others, I will miss her. Like my own parents, she was one of the "originals" at St. Joe's.

Larry, Bill, Rowan & Mary:
Elizabeth Koen phoned to tell me about Edna, and I am sorry for your loss.
I have fond memories of Edna & Bernie visiting us on our farm in Fieldville, or chatting merrily after mass. I remember her ready smile, sense of adventure, and fun stories.
I am fortunate to have her kindness in my life, and I wish you all peaceful hearts.
Love Bonnie

It has been my honor to know Edna Montague. As her Dentist I knew her for a few years, and she always had a smile for all of us in the office. She will be missed by the whole gang at my office.

Sincere condolences to the family. I was a student of Ms. Montague's many years ago. I had not seen her for years. We reconnected at my mother's funeral. It was so nice of her to come. Her kindness will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother...she was such a genuine, lovely spirit and when I knew her as a teenager, I held her very dear...with warmest thoughts and memories.

I would have liked to pay my respects personally on the 29th, but I am sorry I am not able to.

I'm very saddened to hear of the passing of this wonderful aunt and friend. She came to stay with me for a visit a few years back and we had a wonderful visit. It would be my honour to play a tune at her service as she had a great time coming with me to some fiddle events here. She loved the music.
I will miss her.
